Teaching

My teaching career in higher education spans almost fifteen years, including nine years as a tenure-track/tenured faculty member at the University of South Carolina Aiken prior to my current position as Associate Professor at Misericordia University.

My teaching style emphasizes high-impact learning practice and active learning among my students. In past years, my classes polled the surrounding county during two federal elections and won awards in mock trial competition.
