I am an Associate Professor of Government, Law, and National Security at Misericordia University. Previously, I have also taught at the University of South Carolina Aiken, Frederick Community College, and George Mason University.
I received my PhD from George Mason University in 2013 and have been at Misericordia University since 2024. My areas of research interest include primary elections, public opinion research and survey methodology as well as the more general effect of electoral institutions on political behavior. I have published research in venues such as Public Opinion Quarterly, Electoral Studies, and State Politics & Policy Quarterly as well as neuroscience research in Frontiers in Human Neuroscience and Brain Connectivity.
